It's time to start collecting authorization cards!

After months of working to build majority support, we are finally ready to move to the next stage of the campaign.

Signing in authorization card is your way of voting "yes" for forming our union. Once a strong majority of postdocs have signed cards we will submit them to the Employment Relations Board (ERB) to count and verify the signatures. OHSU administration will never be told who chose to sign. Once we've gathered enough cards, our union can be officially certified by the ERB and we can beging the process of negotiating a first contract!

Your first chance to sign a card is at one of our card drop events.  On March 20th from 5-7pm, we'll be meeting in the KCRB Atrium and on March 23rd from noon to 2pm, we'll be in the RJH Atrium. At both events, you'll get a chance to hear from fellow postdocs about why they support a union, as well as representatives from the Graduate Researchers United, AFSCME Local 328 (representing staff at OHSU), and AFSCME, the union we are joining.  We'll also have food, buttons, shirts and more!  Please join us to sign your authorization card!
